A little about us.
Havills was established in Babbacombe, Torquay by founder Bert Havill in 1946 after he left the air force. He trained up to be an apprentice electrician prior to the war.
Bert remained Chairman of the company until his death in July 2005, when his eldest son Roger took over the ship. Roger had joined his father in the business in 1963 at the age of 16. Roger was appointed a Director in 1976 and later the Managing Director in 2000.
Alan Milligan joined the company in 2014 after he left the armed forces (REME), he then became a Director in 2018 and is now operating the business.
Here at Havills we have a very passionate team that you can trust. The majority of our work force have been here for a very long time.
Our electrical workforce are all fully qualified and undergo continuous training and personal development to ensure they are completely up to date with the ever-changing technologies and safety compliances in the workplace.
We are still a local family run business that ensures a quality service.
